Twin Brook People

This is my lovely wife Eleanor Amalia Andujar in 2007.
Our first day as a couple was September 3, 1991. We were married Oct 17, 1992

This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of us. I'm the taller one!
I don't know why our pants match the surroundings. We were not wearing camouflage!

My other favorite picture of the two of us was taken at a picnic
by Professional Photographer Alan Chaniewski.
She always had a camera on hand, I always had a can of soda.

Eleanor loved animals, large and small.

Leo loves animals, even long and scaley.
On the left is Rocky, mascot of the New Britain Rock Cats Minor League Team.
On the right is the python owner. Constrictors this big can overpower a grown man.

Our nation's most prolific author put Eleanor Amalia Andujar on the
cover of his magazine. The next year she was in Asimov's Anthology.
The illustrator drew the cover entirely from reading her story. In this scene
both alien and human discover they are not alone on the desolate planet. Once
they got in touch the illustrator gave her an original of the sketch on the title page.

The framed sketch is hanging on a wall upstairs.

Eleanor's short story was also included in Asimov's Anthology.

The index includes her among 40+ well known authors including Arthur C. Clark,
her friend Kevin O'Donnell Jr (I met him), Jack C. Haldeman II.

In 2020 I reviewed my collection of the occasions Eleanor's story was published.
The list included a 633 page collector's copy of the Anthology she bought and never
told me! After she died I found it, and out fell a receipt from a bookstore in Mashpee MA.
We were there on Vacation and I was standing outside the bookstore!
