In order of arrival

Sally
She was adopted by friend Virginia in 1983 from the Humane Society and lived nearby.
Sally often visited Twin Brook for a sleep over when her former person was away.
She was 13 when she moved in here (1991) but only lived another 11 months.

Sara was adopted from a previous owner after we were married.

Molly
Molly was adopted from the Hamden Animal Shelter.
Molly was an older dog with several health issues when she arrived.
She lived out the remainder of her life here and was gone too quickly.

Ashley
Ashley was adopted from the New Haven Animal Shelter at 8 weeks old.
We thought she was a small breed. We thought 35-45 pounds tops.
As you can see she was Brindle as a puppy but she looks solid brown now.

She was raised with cats and went to Dog Parks from puppyhood. Neighborhood
cats and UPS men will walk right up to her, they know she is friendly.

On occasion Ashley puts on an apron and helps with domestic chores.
